Sand & Sea Large Ellipse 285
Sand & Sea Suspended
Inspired by the shared forms of dunes and waves, Sand & Sea
is designed to evoke the textures of these natural landscapes
and their meeting point.
The 'seas' are represented by clusters of rippled translucent
crystal components, whilst the 'sands' are defined through
their luxurious precious metal finishing.
The elements converge together seamlessly in the
compositions, creating fluid sculptural installations with strong
ties to the natural world. Each ripple is suspended from
microfine cables attached to gold plated fixings creating
a minimal floating effect.
There are six standard suspended Sand & Sea compositions
available, see pages 52-53 for further details. If the standard
compositions are not suitable there is also a custom
composition design service available.
