Description
A very elegant mid-19th century French Louis XVI style giltwood mirror. The richly decorated frame has a large S-scrolled acanthus leaf with flowers at the bottom. The vertical sides have an outer egg and dart design and an inner beaded trim. The top has a fanciful pierced central reserve with large C-scrolled acanthus leaves with foliate and corners with a concave design. All original gilt and mirror plate.
